Recent flooding events in Denmark have shown the importance of looking at the complete water system when performing climate impact studies. Traditionally, these studies focus either on overland flow, sewerage flow, or groundwater flow. This is partially due to limitations in the modelling software. Traditional modelling software is either too slow, too difficult or too expensive to apply all domains into one model. In this Tech Talk, Jonas van Schrojenstein from Nelen & Schuurmans will show the added value of integral hydrodynamic simulations which give holistic insights into the water system and show the audience how to use 3Di by themselves.
